I have just seen that Amazon have launched their MP3 music downloads store!

Very very cheap! I thought Play.com was cheap!

You need to download their MP3 Downloader App to download albums but individual tracks don't need the app.

I am going to download the Rhydian album tomorrow (£3) and burn it to cd and create covers etc and give it as a gift!
(i know it is a bit sad but technology is moving in that direction when you think about it...)

Downloaded it and all burnt to CD for £3 in under 5minutes!

Software is very good and works well with Firefox.

I would definitely recommend Amazon for all downloads!

Thanks Jamie,could be something that I will use.I have never done the 'download music thing'but this seems interesting.I am a big music fan especially 60s,70s, and 80s.

For a Download beginner it is very very easy indeed.

If downloading full albums and more than one music track the Download Manager Amazon provide is very small and works well with Vista too.

Give it a go with a track to see what you think first...

Just noticed its quite cheap for the latest cd's,but if you want ones from years gone by its cheaper to buy the cd from an online retailer.

Edit, just seen Glen campbells greatest hits for £3 (27 tracks),so to me that is a bargain and I think I will download it.

Well that's a bargain Unc  !      Sadly I can't partake in the Amazon MP3 offers  for the moment    (Licensing laws apparently)  .... the Glen Campbell one appeals to me too, I think might buy the CD  ...

Oh thats a shame Kate,I am at present making some cd compilations for Sue.I must admit this is the first time I have ever downloaded music,so I am quite chuffed.

Downloading a lot of tracks is easy with their Download manager isn't it, very straight forward...

I am very impressed with Amazon MP3, like the way it integrates into iTunes.
