Community Payback Vests
« on: December 01, 2008, 06:30:27 PM »

About time. >:(

If you scroll down the article you see a quote from a young offender as follows,

"Why should we be pointed out like saying
we are all criminals and stuff"

"There were already instances where offenders doing community service had been targeted by rival gangs for attack, he said, and in two cases offenders had been shot. "

and the problem with that is that they're in gangs and using guns in the first place, not that they're wearing orange vests. Muppets.

But probation officers warn the vests could "increase the risk" of offenders becoming targets for attacks.

tough luck!!

what about the innocent victims they attacked ?

Protection as always is for the criminal /offender NO ONE cares for the victims (no money in it for lawyers).
