Alright, so I've just phoned up the BT man, and he'll be here within a few hours. It's so weird this problem, it was definitely solved when he left, now we're connecting at what we were before, around 4-6 meg and there is noise on the line again. Hopefully he'll have some idea of what to do. :)

The BT man came again on Wednesday, and spent about 3 hours trying to sort it out. He went to the green box a little way down the main road, and did something there, and (touch wood) it's been working fine ever since, no noise and connecting at a decent speed. He said if it happens again, to call him again and he knows of a 'broadband engineer' who could come and have a look, as it's hard for him as he doesn't have a modem with him.

Anyway, fingers crossed!

Here are a few screenies of stats etc.:

17Mbps! - nice one

The SNRM looks nice and steady from the Routerstats graphs.   Theres a few low areas in the bitloading + SNR graph and the errors are accruing but if its holding on in there at only 3dB SNRM then thats exellent news.
