Wednesday 26th Chat
« on: November 26, 2008, 08:26:06 AM »

Morning all,

Thinking of you and your family today Eric, I hope it all goes well and they reach the right verdict for that swine!!

Hope you all have a good day today whatever you're going to be doing... keep warm if you can.  Cor Kate, lovely log burning stove, should think you are keeping very warm there too - even without the sun  :D

Mornin Chrissie, all, likewise here Eric.As regards the logs Chrissie,I think they are special French ones that burn sunnier brighter  :D
Its quite mild here today and the suns out.
Didn't have to rush to the door for my parcel yesterday as he came at 5.30 and Sue sorted it.
Just been looking in the outhouse for something I thought I had but clearly didn't.The item was a cabin hook, which I need to stop my gate from blowing too when getting the car out.
Will have to go to Screwfix and get one,it will cost more in petrol as they are only £1.29. :D
Have good day whatever you're doing  :)

I support them both ::)  ... mind you, looking on the bright side, I can't lose can I   ;D

Take care all..........

For the last day or so, TD has had a most weird feeling..........and I do not know why.

Do you remember the name Thomas Hamilton ?

Thomas Hamilton was a loner, a mature man who had had an unhappy childhood, was not particularly succesful in his life

or work.
His passion was guns, and he had a collection, all legal, properly licensed and registered.
He used to go to a gun club ( again properly regulated ) and pop off at targets..........he was a very good shot, won trophys

and prizes, but always a bit unpopular with his club mates.

One day Thomas Hamilton got a bit frustrated with target shooting, so that day twelve years ago he went into the primary

school in Dunblane, entered a class full of wee ones and shot them all dead, along with their teacher.

As he took all these lives, he was laughing.

These little ones and this teacher slaughterd.

He then turned his gun on himself, and ended his own life.

Thus ended the short, happy life of Thomas Hamilton.

I have no connection with that event, but for a reason that I cannot understand, I just cannot get it out of my mind....and I

cannot think of anything else to speak about.

No further info as yet, when Sue asked how much the new baby weighed, the reply was 'I'm not sure but its a big un'.  :D. The lad was in shock at the time though. :D

Dunblane is one of the names forever etched on people's brains because of those dreadful events. I have no idea why it should suddenly come to the forefront of yours at this time, but I guess some recent gun event must have triggered it. Heaven knows, there are plenty of them. :(
