When will MPs learn to 'leave it alone'?

A senior MP has questioned whether the UK government knew in advance of a US missile strike in Pakistan that reportedly killed a UK militant.

He was a militant who was 'connected' with possible bomb threats.
I just cannot imagine Bush saying "Hey Gordie, one of your militants is in Pakistan and we are going to bomb the 'ell out of him and his pals."


AND


now some of the Church and Boris want to call an amnesty for the 700,000 illegal immigrants.

Cardinal Murphy-O'Connor said there was a responsibility for the country to welcome immigrants to "appreciate the gifts that they bring and also make sure that in some way they are supported".

gifts that they bring Must be thinking of some wise men etc etc. 
in some way they are supported Must be thinking of Jobseekeres allowance and tax benefits etc etc.


Mayor of London Boris Johnson said allowing long-term illegal immigrants to earn the right to stay in Britain would see "hugely increased" tax revenues.

At least he can't be accused of, or criticised for,  not doing his job, that's what he's there for as an opposition MP  .....       Patrick Mercer may be of the opinion  "once bitten; twice shy" .......    not without reason !

I do not see the logic of this statement:

Under human rights laws, the UK refuses to deport suspects to countries where they may face torture or the death penalty, but Mr Mercer said the US strike had led to "ultimately the execution of a British subject".

What is the connection about not deporting people to certain countries?
This person had not been deported anywhere, he had done a runner to Pakistan and been arrested by them, then escaped and 'just happened' to get caught up in a bombing mission by the US.
So where do the Human Rights bit come into it?

The only thing illegal immigrants bring to this country is their families.
They contribute  nothing and milk the system dry,the health service is a prime example.
As for Boris Johnson,what possessed Londoners to elect that scruffy looking idiot.
The sooner we have an election the better,get these idiots out NOW.
