Good morning everyone,

Hope all the hospital appts went well yesterday, t'was the case here so that's another one out of the way until 1st Dec for moi..... we don't mark our days by dates...just hospital appointments 

Hope you are all ready for the wintry weather that we are told will be coming in?  Think I'll just hibernate for a few weeks, will take care of Xmas then (my least fav time of the year cos I'll be another year older at that time... arrrrghhh)....  I expect our "french connection" will have less cold than us  and still with the sun lol.....well at least she keeps us up to date and is doing her bit for the tourist industry lol.... now where did I put my passport!

Have a good day whatever you're planning to do.  Oh yes and one thing I meant to ask... is this a SCD-free zone?  No mention of dear John Sargeant here.... and yet he was front page news yesterday

Glad to see the hosp. visit went ok.

Tis chilly and windy today, the white stuff is not too far away, according to the lass on the goggle this am. 

Must confess, TD is not too keen on Xmas now..........it was great when the house was full of wee ones, but a bit dreary now.

SCD free-zone ? Hope so 

Will have to go and get another computer chair somewhere as this one is slowly collapsing in a heap around me.......more expense

What a bunch of sickies we are!
Sue and I are off for our flu jabs this evening.

It's dry here with a few black clouds threatening. Snow over the Pennines later, I think, wrap up over there, Yorkie and Co.

Got the Winter Fuel Allowance yesterday so notched up the thermostat another degree.

Enjoy the weekend, everyone.

I'll post the quiz a bit later when I get it organised. Please have a go at it, it then makes it worthwhile doing.

Just managed to walk home in a sleety, rainy, hail shower, its the cold wind that  I really hate, knees are just starting to thaw out. Its stopped now but still looking dark and grey.
