How creativity is being strangled by the law

I just came across this fascinating, thoughtful video lecture about the effect of copyright law in stifling creativity. American, but very relevant to the rest of us. It's nearly two years old now, but it seems to me that what he says is even more true today.
If you don't want to watch the whole thing, do watch the remix of George Bush and Tony Blair apparently singing a love song together, starting about 10 minutes in.

Thanks for posting that Eric.
A very interesting talk - but the Bush / Blair duet just takes the biscuit.

People tell me that I ought to get out more. But in the words of the great Homer J Simpson, "Yeah, but what ya gonna do ?"
