It a pity a train was not on the other track
He would have ran straight in to it
now that would save tax payers money
On a more serious point it's the Train driver if feel sorry for, A lot of these drivers who have killed someone never drive a train again .
1.. When I was on a 'Test Run' with the APT (Advanced Passenger Train ) on the 'West Coast Main Line near the lake district ', we were doing 150 mph and hit a deer
, we stopped the train on the main line to inspect for any damage to our test instruments,
I will not go into graphical details but there was nothing left of the deer only a lot of blood.
2.. I will never forget the time I was watching the view out of the train cab window (what the drives sees) on video monitor we had in the test train, The speed was 125mph and some fishermen ran across the path of the train, we just mist them ! .
All the other scientists and I where shuck up for days.. but..It never goes away..
I can see them now all these years later.
