Morning everyone,

Well I was most surprised, we didn't get any T and T'ers here last night, nor all week  cor.... what a change from most years.  Mind you I haven't had a look at the front of the house yet.... but here's hoping!   I hope you didn't have to resort to nasty tactics Uncy.... don't blame you for preparing for the little b's though 

Hope you all have a good day whatever you've got planned, I shocked myself yesterday.....I valeted the inside of the car and WASHED the outside of it... phew....haven't done that in many a year, erm month but next time will take it and get it done properly by those who enjoy the job, it's too much for me now anyway and it needs some tar getting off the sills, wouldn't know how to begin with that.

G-g-g-o-o-o-d mmmmorning from a cold and frosty Caledonia........tis about minus eight at the moment, bright and blue but TD is glad that he is a duck and not a brass monkey.

Halloween passed off quietly here, no problems at all and the wee ones went round in bunches escorted by adults.......the wee ones had a ball ( and all the sweets, fruits etc. )

I'm proud of you, chrissie,...........possibly you could bring your expertise and tackle the TD carriage ?

Well we are in November(again).I hate this month.Dark nights,fireworks and Christmas seems as though its never coming.

A bit gloomy here this morning, looks like rain is on the way.

In all the years (13) I've lived here I've only ever had 1 trick or treater knock at the door... probably because it's mostly grumpy old farts living at this end of the estate.

I am a grumpy old fart and never answer the door anyway, but no one knocked, mind it was very cold and wet here last night. Although some one was letting fireworks off later, luckily they never bother the cat, he just sleeps through it all, I occasionally jump six foot in the air.

Another couple of minutes and he'll be nicely toasted on one side, I shall turn him over and do the other side and then decide whether to have him in a bread cake with mustard or tomato sauce.

Not even heard any fireworks YET!

Will hear and see some tonight, as Garstang Lions are holding their fireworks to music and bonfire night tonight.

It is £2 per person to get onto the car park, which is closed to cars, to see the display fully. There is a small funfare for the kids and hot dog and pop stall.
Fire lit at 7pm and fireworks display at 7-30.
The Crown is only 200 yards up the road so it will be:
Crown at 7-55 or sooner when the last whizzer has whizzed.

Youre lucky..  mind you I cant help but wonder what next door has in store tonight - Theyve erected this large marquee thingy up in the garden tonight, so waits with trepidation to see what thats all about.
