I restarted router at 3PM so that the SNR is adjusted and can possibly stay up throughout the evening. If i restart the router early in the morning then it syncs at 8meg and will last until about 8 or 9PM and then resync at 6meg or so.

SNR margin, is the target 3 or 6dB?

Errors are fine but the CRCs indicate bursts of noise that Interleave couldn't correct, but they are in small amount so they are looking all OK to me ;D

Nice, so the standard size is 0.5M?
I don't think so. Most of the "flat" RJ11 cables I have with ADSL modem/routers are more like 1.5m.
The 0.5m shielded one I got this week is much shorter, deliberately so for my setup.

Yeah and hopefully the RJ11 cable and the pro microfilter can give me 1 more db or so. I have read reviews and it has improved peoples SNR.

Mines a standard TG585v7 pack...  but I am led to believe that it is exactly the same pack that are sent out to 02 customers - just a different cd and firware.

This is seriously geeky, I just checked some router cables.
1.5m, 2m, 2.5m take your pick!
My (unused) Thomson 585v6 has a 2m cable.  ;)
