tweaking the snr wouldnt help that line..  those gaps are not healthy.   Indicating electromagnetic interference on the line.

Also make sure you check your internal wiring carefully.

Sorry cant recall - have you tried direct into the master socket with nothing else connected .  Preferably the test socket if you have one.

oops just seen you have another thread on the go about this already.

Hey, can you please tell me the length of the rj11 (dsl) cable that comes with the o2 wireless box?

I want to reduce any sort of RF interference and so im getting this cable: http://www.adslnation.com/phpapps/catalog/product_reviews.php?cPath=21&products_id=121

I need the same length cable that comes with the o2 router.

For the ones included with Routers it is usually always 0.5m yep.

However on ADSL Nation you can have other size options too :)

Yh, but i want the original size lol. I hope this can help the connection further by filtering out any extra electrical interference in the house.

Like you, I am trying to get rid of some serious noise on the line, replaced extension wiring the lot!

Came here with speeds of 3.5meg and after a lot of great help and advice from various people (especially Kitz) I now have the speeds you see in my sig!

All of the guys on here are very knowledgeable! I am just a novice to ADSL, but you learn from everyone on here :)

Oh and i should have mentioned that im moving houses soon so there is no real point in me fiddling with the house wiring. Im just purchasing things like cables and filters which i can take with me to my new house.
