Dropbox
« on: October 25, 2008, 08:04:45 AM »

Dropbox is a new online file storage and sharing system. They provide client software for Windows, Mac and Linux. The nice feature is that file uploading and downloading is a completely transparent drag and drop system. The files stored online are synchronised with a special Dropbox folder on the local computer.

Dropbox is currently in beta (and works very well). When it's fully released it will be commercial, but with a free version offering 1 GB of storage space. If you sign up now you get 5 GB of storage free, and this will continue after it goes commercial.
