speak to a real person
« on: October 29, 2008, 10:55:45 AM »

Sometimes, as we have all found out, it can be tedious and inefficient to try and sort out problems if you have access to only some form of automated response system.

This site has a handy list of phone numbers to enable you to contact real people.

The one thing that stands out about American customer services is that most of their support numbers are free phone, where as most of UK support numbers are premium rate 0870 numbers. >:(

I've always found that if you don't press any keys when prompted by the menuing system then you will get a "real person". You might have to listen to the options 2/3 times but it always works.

YMMV of course :)
