I've made a few posts now so I thought I had better introduce myself. I recently became more interested in broadband technologies when I decided to optimise my set-up (I'm currently on a fairly long line) so have been slowly plodding through the intricacies of ADSL. I am formerly an avionics systems engineer and studied electronics at uni, but didn't specialise in comms. I am actually now becoming involved with renewable energy technologies but my old bugbear of needing to know how things work has meant in my spare time I am learning more about broadband technologies.
I have been impressed with, and find very refreshing, the level of knowledge of the users of this forum. Hopefully with my limited-but-expanding knowledge I can make some contributions.
