Printing in FireFox
« on: October 07, 2008, 08:28:51 AM »

Hi,just wondering if there  is  a way just to print the text you want on a page instead of printing out the full page.I can do this in IE7 but can't seem to find a way in FF.

If you first highlight the text you want to print, then when you get the print dialog, under the 'Options' tab is the option "Print selection only". That's how it works in the Linux version of FF3, but I don't know if the Windows version works the same.

Just to add,how do I make the text bigger that I want to print out as well as using the selected text option. In IE7 there is  a text sizing option.Tried the zoom text only option but the text still prints out small.

If I select and go to "Print" my printer Properties, Page Set Up  allows Fit to page printing or scaled printing. This is with a Canon printer. I should think most printers would offer something similar.
