I recently bought a service manual for a Sony music centre from www.manualsparadise.com. Don't know how much they pay Sony for their permission to reproduce their stuff but they accept Paypal which makes them safeish in my eyes. They will download the pdf after receiving payment and mine was a good quality scan, 50 pages for $18. They are situated in Panama.
Folks may be amused to hear that I found, using Goog;e once again, an integrated circuit needed for the music centre priced in Euros and Dollars and the company is situated in Ewell, Surrey! What an integrated world the Web has produced.

Just to say I'm feeling quite pleased with myself. The music centre is repaired and playing in the neighbour's house. Surprise! Surprise! I can still mend electronic equipment even with shaky hands and poor eyesight.
