Music
« on: December 13, 2006, 03:13:33 AM »

No doubt mi madre will back me up on this one: music is a huge part of my life.
What kind of music do you like? Favourite bands?

I listen to pretty much anything.. If I like the song, I like the song.
My favourite band of all time is Sugarcult, followed by [in no order] The Matches, The Fight, Nightmare Of You, Hellogoodbye, Savage Garden, Britney Spears, The Postal Service....

The only one I've heard of in that list is Britney Spears. What does that say about me? :)

Do you have The Postal Services 'Give Up' album? I searched for it everywhere, and eventually found it in HMV in Lincoln.
I like most of Death Cabs stuff... but I'm not too fussy when it comes to music.
I used to be hardcore into SOAD... But nto so much recently o.0 strange.

Cant say I like any one particular style - pure and simple its whether I like the song or not.

I'm glad you say you like savage garden kimi - lol you should do you were brought up on it heh.
Not really into metal or hard core rock - but rock certainly.
Evanescense is a fav band of mine - was a bit disappointed when they had to cancel their Manchester gig the other week as I'd been looking forward to that - more so that it was at the Apollo where Ive seen some good gigs.  Seen Evanescence at the NEC but I prefer the bit smaller venues.

Talking of large venues think the worst was U2 at Manchester stadium..  was a damn good gig, but too large and you couldnt really see anything much :(

Just bought a CD (gosh!)

Nina Simone - Jazz in an Exclusive Side Steet Club (I think that's the name but it's in the other room & I'm to lazy to get up and look.

Lovely.

Anything after about 1979 leaves me cold, sorry.
