Don't have linux so I don't know if this has been mentioned previously but my regular Bob Rankin news letter came with this link,

anyone who wants to try Ubuntu can get the Wubi version:

Yes, as he says, it's a fairly painless way of installing Linux on a Windows machine. I haven't tried it, because I don't have a Windows machine to try it on, but I think I would certainly take the option to install it on a separate partition to keep everything clean.

Hmm.... looks good I'll probably have a pop at it..... probably can't make my PC as unstable as it currently is due to severe overheating  :P
