D Link G624T - Monitoring Stats
« on: September 01, 2008, 02:28:29 PM »

I have the above router.

How can I monitor the stats from it with software?

I have tried RouterStats but its all in JavaScript?

DMTv8 connects but says there is "No Such file or Directory"?

Is there anyway I can manually tell it were to work, or is there any alternative software that I could try?

Here is what the Debug brings up:-

When configuring routerstats most routers will show the yellow javascript warning symbol thing - its because routerstats reads from the raw htm

I'm not sure it works with the G624T -   DMTtool relies on a BCM command adslctl which allows it to access certain information direct from the router.  If the router doesnt have the command then it wont work Im afraid.

Oh I don't get a yellow thing, just blank.

It works behind CGI, but some detective work and I found the htm page, but there was just a load of javascript in the Source where the SNR etc should be.

Are there any alternatives to DMT or RouterStats?

Check the updated firmwares from router stats. The modem you have uses a Texas Instruments chip and therefore there will be a new code for it. Lats time i looked there was a new beta firmware on the whirlpool forums.
