The latest Browsers
« on: July 06, 2025, 03:20:38 PM »

Is it just me are other people having difficult opening pages up on your own LAN with all the security in modern web browsers.

EG.... I put in http://192.168.0.200 this is the LAN address of a server I am playing about with on a machine on my LAN.

Tried turning off security settings on Firefox running on Debian 12 also tried putting http://192.168.0.200 into the allow websites BUT it keeps changing the IP address when I do to
https://192.168.0.200

Any ideas please.

Nope, Firefox in windows.
NAS and Plex seem to load as per normal. Was working on my router last night, no issues accessing that either.

Firefox tells me that the site is not secure when I enter a LAN address, but it doesn't obstruct me going to the site.

No issues here with Firefox on Linux or Chrome on Windows.

FF version 128.12.0esr
Got the sever GUI now showing, running on the machine Debian is running on, normally you can add the security exception but there was no way to let me do that, odd.
Turned off the 'Enhanced tracking protection' as well and that's done the job.

Forgot to say that I could access the server from another machine running FF .  :hmm:
