Netomnia, issues if you missed it on ISPreview

Hi Folks,
For those that don't frequent ISP review, but do use Netomnia. Also a lot on Reddit about this as well.

Does nobody proof read?

I presume they mean a noticeable INCREASE in network latency.  A drop would be an improvement, you'd think people writing on a broadband site would know the difference.

Maybe "Drop" as in worse performance, not the actual figure?

That's obviously what they mean but the complete opposite of what they said.

Its perhaps a poor choice of words used to construct the sentence - says she who is quite capable of making plenty of her own grammatical errors.  :-\

Alex is correct and it should say increased network latency and a decrease in upload performance.  However, I can see both sides, but that is only because I know what he meant to say.  Using the word drop immediately before latency infers the opposite.

On the topic rather than grammar still lots going on with network upgrades and Brsk integration.

I experienced higher latency on 8G for weeks while being migrated to new network. Similar increase to those people were complaining about. Wasn't ideal but even at £99 a month it remains a shared, best effort service. There was no noticeable impact to responsiveness or throughput only latency.

God help them when a fibre cut or router outage sends them to their backup BNG again.
