TP-LINK Aginet (VX230V) AX1800
« on: April 15, 2025, 09:44:52 PM »

I just brought new router cos my Zyxel wireless has died. So, I brought it for £60 and couldn't believe how good WiFi 6 these are in my thick wall. Getting wifi on my mobile 1200Mbps Link speed.

Also I have notice VDSL2 jumped from 79999 to 80058 (max rate also jumpred from 89478 to 100931) with line attenuation reduced from 11.6dB to 7dB (very impressive!)

I don't know what broadcom chipset was that?

That looks very well featured for the price and good that the modem performance seems decent, although that is on your very short line so hard to say if it would be as good on a longer noisier one. Nice that the wifi performance seems decent too but unless you are transferring between local devices it's a bit pointless when your internet speed can't exceed 80Mbps.

Thanks. I can see back of the router that have telephone to plug into it.  Also Wan port for future FTTP when it become available connected from openreach ONT to this router.
