Gigaclear finally enabled IPv6

Not exactly sure when they flicked the switch. I have no idea if it's network-wide either. But I did a ping this morning and noticed the server was responding on IPv6.
Obviously it is nothing new since providers have been enabling it for the past few years. At least GC is switching it on now. Better late than never I suppose.

Have you noticed any increase in latency? I seem to recall something about a year or so ago where IPv6 users were supposedly seeing slower speeds and/or increased latency so Im curious if it really is causing any noticeable delays.

Still early days, but latency seems to be within 1-2ms of IPv4 so far. As for speeds, they seem pretty much on point. It may have been enabled for a number of days and did not notice, but that probably means it is working as intended.

Good stuff!
A couple of ms is negligible.

Got this working on a Unifi UXG Lite, just had to set a /48 prefix for the DHCPv6 WAN connection.

Had this working on an Unifi UXG Lite, had to strip out and replace with the Gigaclear Linksys yesterday, all ipv4 and ipv6 stopped.
Having a further look at when I get a chance.
