what commands to use for DSL-X1852E vdsl modem in dslstats
« on: February 11, 2025, 02:21:42 PM »

Can anyone help me figure out what commands to use to monitor DSL stats for my dsl-x1852e VDSL modem in dslstats? I got an error saying no data returned in latest sample.

I could be wrong but I think dslsats is written for Broadcom based equipment only and your DSL-X1852E is Mediatek based.

Hi,
If your main objective is to collect and graph stats from a non-DSLstats-cooperating router, there may be another option which I used to use for such modem/routers....Routerstats.  Whilst DSLstats is premiere, Routerstats does give an addional non-telnet optional way to collect and graph stats in such cases....always providing that the stats pages can be accessed via a http web page.
May be worth a look.

You could look at this.... I see a go-dsl Mediatek plugin can be installed to scape data via ssh from your modem  :fingers:
