Read elsewhere apparently the higher priced data only SIMS are ok for 4g/5g routers, I am relaying this message, so cant vouch personally for its accuracy.

Funny you said that cos I did asked Mozillion how about using data only SIM instead and their reply is as long you are using it for tablet, cctv but not mobile broadband. The only provider 1p mobile (ee) told me you can use unlimited boost 25 pound a month with FUP policy of 500GB per month on 4G/5G mobile broadband but I did told them why adverts it UNLIMITED as it used to be 500GB boost why renamed it? Because u can't find boost usage on it anymore, the only way to find it is go to My Account, Usage, Mobile Data (you will see it there) but they didn't reply back. Pretty silly to removed usage from the boost section.

Which ISP is that with?

Aquiss ISP but bad news ...

Openreach has confirmed my SoGEA 80/20 has been completed activated on the 19th December. (I was on holiday in abroad Cruise just got back home on xmas eve) But, there is no DSL light on the router, try Openreach VDSL2 Modem, still no dsl light from the master socket. Seem that Openreach has failed the job. No broadband during xmas for 8 days now.

My ISP say: BT Wholesale have come back with the folliowing:

[UD514] OR Test results indicate that the modem is not in sync, there have been multiple retrains and the fault is most likely in the customer environment.

Are you sure the router is setup correctly? Sounds like the router is trying to train.

I can push for further checks, but I'm just wary of dispatching engineers whilst you are away.

Kind Regards,

but it now booked for an engineer to attend my property tomorrow 8am to 1pm to get the VDSL2 up and running hopefully. No broadband for 8 days now.

The engineer did turn up and found the jumper left on g.fast side of the cabinet. He removed it off. SoGEA worked now sync 80/20.

I went on the cruise with TUI for my break due to me (to avoid xmas depression and mental health related) did have a fab time! The foods and drink was the best I ever have on the cruise.
