To clarify the above post, there aren't any FTTC DLM profile changes your ISP can request from Openreach.
The only aspect of the DLM that your ISP has any control over is the
stability level. Other than that they can request a reset, which will take the line back to the 'default profile' with re-tx high.
As an aside there is an Openreach reset that can only be performed by a visiting Openreach Engineer when investigating a line fault This wipes all DLM history and sets the DLM as if it were a new line and on an 'Open profile' for up 48hrs. From observation, lines that have had an Engineer reset seem to move faster to retx-low. Stability level may also affect lines depending upon their level of errors per day. Quite a few people get impatient and resort to capping the sync speed. However, its too soon yet for you to try that yet... and as already mentioned there's a few other steps first. Good luck
