Andrews and Arnold (AAISP) remove quotas on some of their packages.
Chrysalis:
As linked below, AAISP have decided to change their 10TB and 20TB packages to no longer have a quota, they have made it clear they are not calling it "unlimited". They also are renaming some of their packages.
The changes are as follows.
HOME::1 1TB is now HOME::1 LITE with 1TB quota.
HOME::1 10TB is now HOME::1 with no quota.
SOHO::1 2TB is now SOHO::1 LITE with 2TB quota.
SOHO::1 20TB is now SOHO::1 with no quota.
OFFICE::1 20TB is now OFFICE::1 with no quota.
These changes will be implemented during this month of August.

Alex Atkin UK:
Wholeheartedly agree with them, unlimited is a stupid term, nothing in the world is unlimited.
I know in the US they take this even further, with AT&T selling "unlimited" packages with in the fine print notes that they will charge you a fee for going over an unspecified quota, something thankfully I believe was outlawed here.

On the whole a good move because there will always be someone who pigs out on the "all you can eat buffet"
However, I don't know if its just me,
--- Quote --- We are definitely aware that potential customers have chosen an alternative provider because of quota anxiety.
--- End quote ---
renaming HOME::1 to HOME::1 LITE isn't really going to help attract those with 'quota anxiety' despite the fact that 1TB may be "effectively unlimited for me"
Dwight:
Although out of my price range!
Plusnet use to have a usage bar on their account page. But that has long gone, so how do people actually know what there usage is?
Obviously A&A must show on their account page and warn you when you're about to top out.
But does any other ISP have usage information at hand?
🤔🤔

HPsauce:
My Plusnet Hub2 router shows (in Advanced settings) alongside uptime the Uploaded and Downloaded data volumes.
Currently: Connection time: 152 days etc. 169.4 GB Uploaded / 734.5 GB Downloaded
So less than 1TB in 5 months; sadly PN is a lot cheaper than A&A and I don't need their included features. Though I do use A&A for VOIP. :thumbs:
