G.inp looks fine on the Zyxel router, only G.vector disabled so the reduced speed is due to cross-talk which G.vector eliminate/reduce to achieve higher sync./attainable speed.

Yeah I did ask Zyxel support team enquired why is it disabled on G.Vector? They should fix it with next firmware but they say it end of life now, no further firmware now.  Sound like the only way is openreach gfast modem that will enabled both G.INP and G.Vector because it will added extra 33Mbps on it.

I checking via DSLStats and found G.Vector as it marked all 4 does it mean enabled or not from my router?

I thought we had decided earlier that vectoring can't be disabled on G.fast as its a required part of the spec?  Though I guess if its a firmware bug, all bets are off, but would it even sync at all if its really off and required?

Yeah its supposed to be part of the spec, so if that device has it off, it is non compliant with g.fast.  But these are the issues when the local loop owner doesnt enforce tested and validated equipment.

I have report this to Zyxel. (Link below) I don't know if any more owners of this Gfast router to see if G.Vector does indeed turned off because it hardly any G.fast service these days now in UK. Everyone move to FTTP.

https://community.zyxel.com/en/discussion/24437/xmg3927-b50a-v5-17-abmt-6-c0-g-vector-disable/p1?new=1

Zyxel support team has informed me All G.fast service must have both G.INP and vectoring ON at all times, G.fast won't work without it. Expecting the router stats as a bug reported in the lastest firmware but it end of life and can't release next batch of firmware! But the support team don't know why drop 33 Meg from OPenreach Gfast modem to Zyxel Gfast router suggest me to go back to Openreach Gfast Modem but I do indeed hate to use both sockets (Modem & Router to run all times!) I prefer Router on his own.

Updated: (tested G.fast on BT Smart Hub 2)

ZT Link MT992 Openreach G.fast Modem getting sync rate of 245.49 / 30.19
Zyxel XMG3927-B50A G.fast Router getting sync rate of 212.44 / 30.37
BT Smart Hub 2 G.fast getting sync rate of 220.69 / 31.95

It's seem the Openreach G.fast Modem are the best performance hand down!
