so that's a bargain for a wifi 6e router, so I tried to post in the bargains thread, wrote a whole new post, added those two links and hit the same error I had previously.

Is there something different in the php.ini such as its not automatically urldecoding the POST form and this is breaking the SQL encoding stage?

No URLs but the following post gives me:

I cant find the post that you mean.  Can you tell me the thread please.
The reason you may not be able to view it could possibly be related to the issue I found from what Meritez said, although I dont think the reason is actually the url.

Yes thats what I discovered and am asking for help with. This shouldnt have happened. :(

I edited your post.  Im being absolutely bombarded with bots from China.

I think the new IP has attracted them. I have various stages to keep the bots at bay/  Over the past nrly 20 years Ive built up a heck of a lot of bans, but I try to move them away from hitting the forum There's many thousands per hour so I need to perhaps try putting them on a htaccess rather than causing server load from bans. Im not sure if my honey pot is working after the transfer either.

Does the hosting have Fail2Ban installed?  That should cut down the hits a little, at least when they come from the same IP.
Ideally I'd geoblock the whole of China, but I'm not sure the best way to do that. (well I do, your hosting provider doing it before the traffic even reaches the server but I kinda doubt they will)

I wonder if putting it behind Cloudflare Proxy would help, but then were back onto the issue of moving the DNS to Cloudflare.

I just got a massive long list from IP2Location and added to htaccess  which promptly took the server down.
It was a straint C&P from
https://www.ip2location.com/free/visitor-blocker

So not sure what I did wrong.  I double checked I had the correct apache version.  I really need to get to bed,  Ive been glued to the PC since my carer left at 9am and I cant ignore the pain any longer.
