The idea was to just use it as a modem, I have another router he can also have (we used this combination early in troubleshooting our own fttc issues). SoGEA was a new term to me and I had to do a bit of reading to get up to speed - he didn't seem aware that it would mean he loses the phone number attached to the phone line, and he wasn't warned of this on the phone from Onestream!
He's going to get in touch with them tomorrow or Monday to inquire as to why he wasn't told this is what would happen.
