Is this just your area? 
In view of the amount of past correspondence and use of the checker its possible for them to remove data.  The checkers are meant to be a guide and didnt they say something about the dates could be liable to change.  If they are getting too many enquiries for an address, its not beyond the realms of possibility for them to stop supplying data. :/

OR might have not seen it as viable since Virgin is in your area if I recall. I have seen them avoid heavy Virgin subbed areas in cities.

At least if you have virgin you have high speed net available even if its not great great.

Yeah you dont want it but there could be a fair few on it in your area which means poor sign up rates for other networks like OR/CityFibre etc.

I guess if you want FTTP move or get Virgin, virgin isnt terrible and many many others would be very happy to have some form of FTTP so you are not hard done by.

I know FTTP not available but will happen by 2026 anyway. I just staying on G.fast until xmas then cease it. Using EE from my 5G hub after xmas from 1 mobile for 25 pound a month is not bad at all. EE 5G is good coverage in my area with 5G hub say excellent signal minus 76.

I will never join VM because of history poor customer support.

Openreach removed from end of 2026 to Not Available mean they had no plan or probably scrapped it now for some reason? Maybe lack of fund or hard to reach? (via underground)

Knowing Openreach can never be 100% accurate representation of the system!

VM does indeed taking the annoyed out of me last time but always downtime issues in Telford and never look back again. My mate still using VM in Ketley and other mate in Wellington told me VM was all fine all year round. Must be my area with badly congestion with VM.

I will be honest you should see how many on your street have VM and if they have issues. VM can be very cabinet based for issues, I know some who have had a hell of a time and plenty who have had no issue.

All ISP's can be like that be it OR/CF/VM or any other network, I had an exchange a decade ago where sky badly oversold on it and it took 3 months for the peak speaks (sync was fine) to get back to normal.

I just spoken to few neighbours in my area (VM cable) they told me they have no issues for 3 years now (only downtime when there is power cut)

I check on their website they got 1Gig available in my address for 40.99 a month (18 months contract) no set up fee. So, I might go for VM 1Gig after xmas in January. But it will increase price in April 2025 and April 2026 during 18 months contract) probably will rise to 48.99 a month by 2026.

If you are concerned about the cost then why are you looking at the 1Gig service when you are perfectly happy with your current G.Fast which is way slower than that? Look at their lower speed services as they'll be quite a lot cheaper.

My current Gfast cost me 56 a month (all paid 10 months so far) for Gfast sync at 222/40 at the moment (will go up to 262/43 in colder winter months)

I will go for EE from my 5G hub after xmas from 1 mobile for 25 pound a month is not bad at all. EE 5G get me faster than my current Gfast every days. More than 250 down and more than 55 up but changed to Band locked B1, B3, N28 I get over 100Meg down and up pretty easy. Three 5G are useless in my area as the 5G mast is too far!

I was on gig1 in 2022/2023 and it was good, so there is a fair chance they have improved.

Also you have 2 weeks after it is installed to choose to change your mind without penalty.

Also one step at a time, the first 18 months will be good price, then you can make another decision at end of that 18 months, by then you might have more options.
