Access violation on DSLStats for Linux
« on: October 25, 2024, 10:36:13 PM »

I keep getting Access violation on startup of DSLStats on Solus. I just press OK and it seems to run fine. Just wondering if I have the location wrong. The folder is placed under my Home folder. Any ideas?

It's quite likely that the access violation results from its attempt during startup to obtain the IP address from my old website which no longer exists. Some errors of this nature are trapped and discarded so they have no ongoing effect on the operation of DSLstats. If it carries on working normally the error can be ignored.

Wonder if turning off check for updates will make a difference? It also says about data corruption but I am only interested in the a few days.

You might as well turn that off. It won't do any harm, and the check doesn't have any use now.
