Absolutely not: you're that user of the network, always one, that won't stop mucking around with it and finds those tiny imperfections and errors I made that force me to end up having to spend 5 minutes fixing the issue and 5 hours documenting it!

I'm not sure why and if & when things changed, but at one time you could only have it done on Acrylic (false) nails.  Same with ombre.  They do do a very fine metallic powder which is dry brushed on top of the base colour which gives a wonderful high sheen pearlescent.  I'll have to ask again...  I've just realised incredibly that its over 3yrs since I last went.    She closed down her shop due to covid.
No doubt you could do your own if you have the kit.  I have Nails Inc black glitter and a chromish silver set, but cant do my own any more
