Now this looks very much like a phishing email, so I've not clicked the link, and why would I need to upgrade my webmail anyway???
There's also an unsubscribe link and manage email preferences, and the URL's look rather dodgy.

Any idea how the spammers know I use cpanel as part of my email service, or is it easy to tell?

At least my wife doesn't seem to have received the same email.

I get a lot of those similar mails.   They frequently mention webmail or cpanel.
They often have the spoofed sender email as being from cpanel and I will get about 6 at a time to web@ IT@ webmaster@... its pure dictionary spamming in the hope that they hit lucky 
Most people with managed VPN use Cpanel, so it will just be a lucky guess if you own a domain name. Theres not much choice cpanel or plesk or the webhost own portal.  However, I dont think you will actually deal direct with cpanel?

I'm pretty sure I had that same one in the past few weeks..  I emptied my bin at the weekend so I cant check.

Thanks, clearly spam and a lucky guess, I'm sure Havehosts uses cpanel, or used to.

It was a combination of the outage the other week and then receiving the email, got me more concerned than usual.
