Is anyone experiencing issues with John servers Havehosts ?

Johns phones are down, no nameservers working doesn't look good.

I know several Kitz users use this service D2D4j . You need to act quickly to save your domains.

I don't know what you've done (or not done) but everything is absolutely fine here.

Are you on the 7hi server?

I’ve done noting. All johns domains are down, his phone line is unavailable, Nominet confirmed there are issues. I know another local user all his domains now “don’t exist” so it’s not me

No response on either havehosts.co.uk or haveworx.co.uk for me either. As luck would have it I moved my domain and email from havehosts to A&A last weekend. Exchanged a few messages with John about this move but no hint of any impending issues.

Thanks for that confirmation of sanity. I’ve got several .co.uk that nominet are trying to rescue for me, unfortunately my main domains are .com, I’m trying to communicate with the US TLD but with little success. Jelev I would recommend you double check.

There are several users on here that used that host. It’s relatively easy for .co.uk but anything else could be really difficult. I’m surprised no other host has jumped in ?

I can still log in to the domain control panel at https://7hi.co.uk:2443/siteworx/

I'm still getting emails through (including notifications from these forums of replies to this topic).

My website is still accessible.

Well you seem lucky, however you maybe getting the benefit of cached credentials? Have you checked your DNS records? With something like mx.com

The haveworx nameservers are down, so anyone with a domain configured to use them will appear to have “lost” the domain. The 7hi nameservers appear to be up so domains using these should be ok.
Hopefully the problem is simply related to the haveworx nameservers being down.

I've checked it using https://mxtoolbox.com

Apart from warnings about slowish connection times all looks OK.

I notice you commented about haveworx - my domain was moved from that to 7hi many, many months ago.

Edit: I understood from John that haveworx was going to be retired as it is rather long in the tooth. I needed to be moved because of needing a more recent php version.

Yes, I was aware that some domains moved, but mine (until last weekend) remained on haveworx, as it would appear have some others. I received no communication regarding a move to 7hi.

Jelv you seen lucky as your obviously ok.

 I’m not and I suspect many others are not. I guess Havehosts have failed and some accounts were never moved
I wonder if anyone has a mobile number for John as the landline has been ceased.

That’s ominous in its self. At least you have been able to text. Appreciate any update here. I’m going to try and recover my domains tomorrow.
