Talk Talk and new VOIP solutions
« on: November 16, 2023, 05:37:43 PM »

My BT contract is up next month and I am planning on moving from them as they are too expensive.

Looking at TT (who I was with prior to Full Fibre) they now have a VOIP solution. Looking at what I can find out one option allows your mobile to access your landline if you have internet access. I was looking to ditch the landline but my wife now wonders if we should keep it as it is so embedded in our profiles across the internet and locally (doctor, dentists, NHS and so on), so I am investigating it again.

I know that keeping some form of VOIP needs power to work but perhaps a solution like the TT one for Android might be appropriate and allow us to keep our number, assuming BT allow porting from them.

I am wondering if anyone here has used or is using TT with any of their VOIP solutions? If so which one and how well does it work?
