anyone know if thinkbroadband BQMs use 1 specific IP address?

i use opnsense with ICMP disabled, however i want to run a BQM for a short while and with opnsense you need to add a firewall rule to allow it but i'd rather not allow it for the whole internet and just for ths BQM.

Apparently there is also:
pingbox2.thinkbroadband.com (80.249.99.171)
ipv6.pingbox1.thinkbroadband.com has IPv6 address 2a02:68:1::164
ipv6.pingbox2.thinkbroadband.com has IPv6 address 2a02:68:1::171

strangely, the firewall logs are showing it's blocking it again.
i added the rule to allow ICMP from that IP, and the BQM started working.
checking it again this morning and for some reason the firewall has blocked from Sunday onwards it even though the rule is still active.

80.249.99.164 is still the IP that is hitting the firewall, but is being denied for some reason.
