Zyxel DX3301-T0 and DX3300-T0 - Any Intel?
« on: September 05, 2023, 04:01:45 PM »

Looks like most of the older VMG series of DSL routers have been retired. The "T" in the name possibly means not Broadcom?

Does anyone know what hardware/chipset is in these models? TIA.

If these are following Zyxel's standard naming convention then the 'T' at the end of the model number denotes Mediatek.

I guess its inevitable, I wonder how long there will be any competition in DSL chipsets given DSL is being phased out in so many places now so demand should be dropping?

I could imagine Mediatek becoming the sole vendor at some point.

Very true.

Thank you both!

Very true.

Thank you both!

They work well, deployed at several customer sites.
