Alan's sister has started to undertake the unenviable task of sorting through Alans belongings.  As expected there are many items relating to dsl & data comms.  Right now she is unsure what she is going to do with them, but we have been offered first dibs before they are dispersed/go to charity/ on ebay.  I've put photographs of these in a folder that can be viewed here:

If there is anything you are interested in or know anywhere that they may find a new home please let me know and I will pass your details on.  You will be responsible for transit or cost of postage. There are no fixed prices but a fair and just amount to the Cats Protection charity for anything of value.

The items have also been shared with Alans close friends at ElRepo and I believe the following items have already been reserved.
1858, 1865, 1883 and 1884.

kitz:
There are also many books and journals on
[*]Code breaking and cryptology
[*]Bletchley Park

[*]The Post Office Electrical Engineers Journal, special editions 1956 and 1959, then a run from 1968 to 1982
[*]British Telecommunications Engineering 1982 to 1999
[*]A paper on system X reprinted from the Post Office Electrical Engineers Journal
[*]System X Technology - a basic introduction
[*]System X Technology - the way forward
[*]Satellite Communications
[*]British Telecom Training Bulletin

tickmike:
Do you think 'Bletchley Park' may be interested in any of it ?.
or School's/ uni's etc.

I gave some of my stuff to a local school and they were glad of it, they even used some PCB's in art works . :)

g3uiss:
Bletchley are quite picky about what they take. Maybe

Would be very interested ?

kitz:
I suggested the Telecoms Heritage Group - its something b*cat has mentioned before.
His sister has already been in touch with them and they may be interested in a few things.  I'll pass on any other suggestions.

ETA
I believe one of his ELRepo colleagues is interested in the Bletchley Park/GCHQ/Cryptology stuff.  I think Alan would have wanted his friends and collegues who had similar interest to him to have first option.
