The quote about Linux PPP being multi-threaded its not mine and my understanding of OpenWRT is more limited; no doubt Alex can expand on his information.

I'm honestly not so sure now I think about it, feel I probably have been parroting what others have said the weakness of OpenBSD is vs Linux, rather than OpenWRT.  I can find people claiming PPP is better on OpenWRT but nobody saying WHY.
