It wasn't Monday night. Those BQM's are from last night (Tuesday the 14th).
It was the 14th.... Not the 13th the Liverpool v Everton game was on like you suggested above.
It wasn't the 15th that the Arsenal v Man City game was streamed on Amazon Prime that the article talks about.
The COD update was also released on the 15th.
The blip in the BQM was Tuesday 14th. There was no major sports events on.
Even if there was football on, people don't turn their streams off for half an hour at half time, which lasts 15 mins
Sky BQM's were pretty flat for both Monday night and Wednesday nights football.
An increase in usage would not cause such a high rise in minimum latency.
That's a break in a fibre or a broken or misconfigured piece of hardware
