Absolutely, it even says so in the specifications as 480Mbit max which is probably not even realistic for real-world given USB 2.0 overheads.
But I believe supporting a higher CAT rating isn't always about reaching peak speeds, its about making the best utilisation of what is there by ensuring you are using the best modulation modes the mast can support.
