Unchained FTTC SoGEA
« on: October 22, 2022, 12:53:40 AM »

I haven't checked my dslstats for 3 months until today. So far, overall happy with my FTTC SoGEA 80/20 with UnchainedISP.

That's good to know. We knew that if you made an effort to just use the service then the urge to worry over little details in the statistics would abate.  :)

I've taken a quick look through the information in the three images and all, to me, seems well. You have the full synchronisation speed of the Openreach 80/20 Mbps product, with excess SNR to spare.

Lucky guy - crosstalk is plaguing me continually, dropping one line to under 55Mbps now. I can't be bothered to go delving into line stats, am waiting for altnet FTTP.

Yeah I do sympathise, even with a 80(74 banded previously) syncing line it feels restrained now, so must be especially bad for those with lower syncing lines.  Then we also all have to pray every day for no fault as DSL is so fragile.

CF so close for be but yet so far, roadworks have stopped finally with last one ending yesterday, however CF havent activated any postcodes in my city for several months now, something has bottlenecked them. :(

Yes I was surprise as I was nervy when it changed from G.fast to SoGEA FTTC as I expecting cross talk on the cabinet, but it isn't. I guessed I am lucky!

You can request ISP to get DLM resetted on your line banded 74Meg
