Will it blow up a PoE’d device if you simultaneously have PoE and a direct DC power cable into it? Such as my WAPs. I’m assuming it will, and if so, then I will need to be careful to warn Janet.

One might hope that designers have had some outbreak of sanity and put diodes in the right places or employ some sort of switching. But then I know absolutely nothing about electronics so I’ll shut up and leave it to Kitizens who do.
