Plusnet now selling FTTP
« on: July 09, 2022, 01:57:19 PM »

Just noticed Plusnet are now letting existing users upgrade to FTTP if available in their area, it's the same price as BT and they also don't let you keep your landline/existing phone number which is a little... disappointing.
Only 4 months of our contract left with Plusnet FTTC, so I guess we'll be joining BT FTTP finally  :)

@Geekofbroadband  Keep up at the back.;D  Plusnet Full Fibre has been available since the 25th of May but only if you phoned in, nothing showed up on the website, a very half-baked product launch. the other problem is not being able to port your number out to VOIP although it appears at least one user has managed to do it by some fluke. This is going to loose them a lot of customers who will move to BT or other suppliers who have a phone service with FTTP.

Hopefully BTs new Smart Hub 3 is out before we move to them, ISPreview seems to think we're getting news this month about it.  :D
