What happens to the FTTC NTE and copper line into the house after someone upgrades to FTTP? If anything.

Nothing happened to mine. I even got the ONT put to a different room.

I was actually wondering, will they even care if I disconnect it?   I don't really want a lightening rod feeding into my room, its one of the big pluses to moving to fibre.
