If you put 'ZTE MC801a' into the search on CEX's website there are two different versions, one for £120 that appears to be on the '3' network and one for £145 that doesn't specify.

Sounds like it's not network locked if it works on Giffgaff, who use O2 I believe?

It's not locked, it's a brilliant price for a Snapdragon X55 5G modem, same as the iPhone 12
