Walter Willcox, RIP.
« on: April 19, 2022, 10:43:30 PM »

It is with great sadness that we report the passing of our good friend, Walter Willcox, on March 1st, 2022.

The wheelbarrow may have trundled its last but Walter's legacy will continue in both B4RN and B4SH.

Tributes from B4RN and B4SH. The last journey.

So sorry to hear this.

He helped so many people eke that bit more out of their broadband connection and forever taking on new cases where he would tackle Openreach on the user's behalf.   He was fully commuted to B4RN and bringing full fibre to the consumer putting in countless hours to the cause. He was also a true gentleman who would help anyone. Such as sad loss to the Broadband community.

RIP Walter.

Ah, no .... that's sad news  :'(.

Me and Walter had many 'debates' on here over the years, but what most probably wouldn't be aware of,  was that we also PM'd each other regularly and had a great relationship. I will miss the old goat's input, for sure.

RIP mate.

Sad to hear this.

From what I've seen and heard Walter had that 'can do' attitude.

If there was a way to do something he'd find it and do it.
