They havent contacted me on this occasion, so it seems in this case they have no interest in giving me information, but its still the same as of today, no isp's unlocked.

Still waiting for them to reach me, they seem to be moving incredibly slowly.  Curious if Zen will encourage me to move over once its available, was thinking I'd probably just get a second service from Zen on CF then migrate the OR FTTP to a Social Tariff on a different ISP.

I had been considering AAISP for CF but £40/month for Zen vs £67 is kinda no contest, even if it would mean I could drop the L2TP service (which frankly I could probably get rid of now as I don't really use it).

I'm getting begging letters, but I'm in contract with my Scancom EE data sim until March so I cannot do anything.

Back to planned but no isp's.

Still no response on my query.

I am still curious how when the rollout took over 2 years they didnt manage to connect any isp's in that time.

Its now available, however the guy who I was in contact with over the wayleave email address now bounces.

I filled out the wayleave form again, but no reply, and notice the wayleave page now says its just for landlords and not tenants.

So looks I wont be seeing FTTP any time soon.

Luckily VM gig1 is working ok so its not the end of the world, but I think CF must be losing a fair amount of business as they put a wayleave block on any address with flat in the name.

Finally can order if I want.

Skyeci yep, thats how they roll.

Zen started sending me emails again about FTTP, so I checked and now they have connected up to my local CF area.

They seemed to have done the area directly around my exchange two years ago.

"thousands of homes", I seem to recall my exchange alone has about 35,000 properties on it.

Since then, they seem to be moving at a slugs pace with hardly any roadworks showing up.

"CityFibre aim is for the build to be substantially completed by 2026.", yeah I kinda doubt it given their coverage right now.

Well what you know! A fibre install taking more than two years!  ;) ;)
Makes my Netomnia watching seem normal behaviour!
Hope you hear something soon, BT took a year and a half to sort my flat service out and I'm road facing.
Netomnia are now saying November! To say I have started breathing again is an understatement!
Regards.

I mean I can't complain, I have access to Openreach and Virgin.  But I had hoped to start being able to do three tier backups using cloud storage, but I don't fancy doing that on 100Mbit upload.

But that's the thing, CityFibre have the benefit here of PIA as Openreach already did most places 2 years ago.  Virgin were proactive and put in the cabinets as Openreach were clearing the ducts.  So its bizarre that CityFibre are taking forever, though granted I didn't expect as fast as Virgin as they already had a large footprint in the area with their legacy network.

Yeah I do now do automated uploads to cloud accounts, its much more viable when you have this kind of upload bandwidth.
