Mikrotik Port Channel
« on: March 29, 2022, 12:37:21 AM »

I suspect Meritez is the man for this, but does anyone know if using link bonding / port channel / whatever you want to call it will cut throughput heavily as it's considered policy based routing?

This is on a CCR2004.

Yes, it will cut throughput, though how heavily depends on your configuration.

Which bonding option are you looking at using?

It's all good. I've kept it at active passive. 10G routed is fine, two switches both correct to the CCR and to each other running RSTP so it won't be used to traverse them.
